Are you looking for a challenging opportunity to work on complex analytical software systems in a leading R&D engineering team? We're seeking enthusiastic students to join our Year in Industry program, designed for undergraduates to immerse themselves into the STEM subjects they are most passionate about.

This role is for an Assistant Systems Engineer to contribute to the delivery of new and existing scientific and industrial instrumentation solutions. As part of a larger team, you will work on projects that form part of the everyday at Malvern Panalytical.

We continue to support and develop our students by harnessing their skills, knowledge, and performance with in-house, on-the-job, and external training. Our students are empowered and encouraged to take on new challenges and experience a variety of projects.

To succeed in this role, you will bring creative thinking, curiosity, and out-of-the-box ideas to develop innovative test concepts and methods. You will also analyze test results data and draw conclusions, and have an understanding of different engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electronic, and software.

We offer a full-time position throughout your placement, with a competitive salary of up to £22,308, 25 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays, company benefits, flexible hybrid working, and flexible hours.

To be eligible for this role, you must be currently enrolled in a STEM degree that offers an Industrial Placement Year.
