Job Summary

The Vetting Researcher will be responsible for interrogating, researching, and analysing intelligence and information to support the vetting process. This will involve evaluating and assessing sensitive and confidential information, preparing vetting files, and providing administrative support to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interrogate and research intelligence and information to support vetting decisions
  • Evaluate and assess sensitive and confidential information
  • Prepare vetting files and submit to the Force Vetting Officer
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing incoming queries
  • Maintain contact with other vetting agencies and organisations for intelligence gathering
  • Record and maintain comprehensive records of vetting decisions and enquiries

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent research and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work with sensitive and confidential information. You will also need to be able to provide administrative support to the team and maintain accurate records.
