Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee IFA. As a Trainee IFA, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in financial planning and work towards becoming a qualified financial advisor.

About the Role:

This is an employed trainee financial planner position at a time when such opportunities are rare. However, this role goes beyond that. Our firm has crafted a detailed plan outlining your development path, which includes starting as a paraplanner and progressing to a financial planner within 12-18 months. This plan is in writing, ensuring you know exactly what you need to do to achieve your goals.

As you evidence your technical and soft skills, you will move to the next stage of your development. Your salary will also increase accordingly, starting at £40,000 and potentially reaching £70,000+ as you gain experience and build your client base.

Our bonus scheme reflects our team ethos, and you will receive a healthy percentage of the profits.

Requirements:

  • You will be a paraplanner with an interest in becoming a financial planner.
  • You will be level 4 qualified and have at least one AF paper under your belt.
  • You will have experience in cash flow modeling, preferably using Voyant.
  • You will have knowledge and experience in matters such as capital gains tax, investment bond encashments, and tapered annual allowance.
  • Knowledge and experience of trusts are a 'nice to have'.
