Divisional Director - Senior Account Handler

The Divisional Director of the Aviation Department will perform a diverse array of functions including client management, market liaison, operations, and team supervision. Working closely with the Head of Division to spearhead the effective placement of risks and management of the aviation portfolio, maintain and develop client relationships, nurture market contacts, and contribute to the overall growth of the account and achieve the performance targets of the departmental business plan.

  • Assist in identifying new revenue streams and win new business
  • Understand risk and the client's requirements
  • Design appropriate cover structure
  • Provide guidance and support to clients
  • Identify suitable markets and insurers with appropriate appetite
  • Devise the most effective placement strategy
  • Provide input into preparing market presentations
  • Negotiate with clients and insurers
  • Coordinate the placement process
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, file management, and compliance
  • Produce, analyze, and report on premium, brokerage, claims, renewal data
  • Lead and manage 4/5 staff
