About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Care Support Specialist to join our Residential Care team at Longhurst Group. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers to achieve their outcomes and maintain their independent living.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable people to maximise their independence within their homes and the local community.
- Promote and enable individual choices in the support provided.
- Provide personal care to our customers, ranging from hygiene, dietary through to financial.
- Maintain and respect all peoples' choices, privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and independence, treating them as individuals.
- Ensure that people are fully involved in identifying their own needs and planning their own support.

Requirements
- An empathetic individual with a natural flair in building relationships
- Non-judgemental and have a 'can do' attitude
- Ability to work with individuals who have learning disabilities support needs
