Job Title: HGV Technician

At Gist, we're seeking skilled and motivated HGV Technicians to join our team of professionals dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the performance of our heavy goods vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain various vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
  • Carry out all breakdowns and reactive works to high standards and within the given timeframe.
  • Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults with the HGVs and communicate technical information to teammates.
  • Escalate any issues to relevant managers and ensure all work is accurately documented.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
  • Desirable: HGV Class 1 license.
