Job Title: Quality Improvement Specialist

The estimated salary for this role is £49,325 per annum. As a Quality Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for driving improvements in clinical practice within the Maternity Services department. This includes coordinating projects, implementing quality improvement methodologies, and collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with national and local standards.

Your main duties will include:
  • Developing and embedding improvement projects within the programme
  • Applying information from local and national reports to ensure project alignment with best practice guidance
  • Supporting the development of a culture of continuous quality improvement and assurance across all services

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Midwife with UK registration
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements, as well as the NHSR Maternity Incentive Scheme
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, non-verbal, and written communication
