Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Negotiate and agree targets and Key Performance Indicators to deliver exceptional results from the workshop.
- Allocate work to technicians to ensure smooth operations and profitable customer-focused results.
- Liaise with the service department and provide technical advice to colleagues and customers.
- Workshop Operations
- Ensure all incoming work is planned and managed effectively.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage and support the technical team to achieve high-quality results.
- Quality and Compliance
- Ensure robust quality checks, stock maintenance, and management, audit, and compliance with company policies and protocols.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Essential Skills and Experience
- IT literate and familiar with web-based process and stock management systems.
- Evidence of previous service department experience.
- Evidence of coaching and motivating a team.
- Experience working as a fully qualified technician (preferred level 3).
- Full driving license held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points.
- Evidence of Right to work in the UK.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who can deliver first-class customer service in a customer-facing environment, ideally within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a drive to exceed targets, and influencing and negotiation skills to identify and close sales.
