Key Responsibilities:
  1. Routine Maintenance:
    Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
    Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  2. Equipment Repairs:
    Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  3. Emergency Response:
    Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, minimizing downtime.
    Work on-call as needed to address urgent maintenance issues outside of regular working hours.
  4. Health and Safety:
    Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
    Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to address them.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
    Prepare reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
Requirements:
  1. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
  2. Experience with conveyor systems, packaging machinery, and other industrial equipment.
  3. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  4. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  6. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is advantageous.
