Job Title: Graduate Tyre Performance Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Tyre Performance Engineer to join our Andretti Cadillac team at the Silverstone facility.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist tyre performance engineers in their race weekend operations, reporting, and development of bespoke tools for analysing tyre performance. This role will also involve assisting with tyre testing activities and tyre model correlation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support tyre performance engineers with their race weekend operations.
  • Report on tyre performance, completing work on time and to a high standard.
  • Assist in the development of tyre performance tools, methods, and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain department administration and reporting procedures.
  • Assist with tyre testing activities and tyre model correlation.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of physics and math relating to high-performance vehicles.
  • Experience in performing data analysis, including data cleaning, transformation, and visualization, using Python, R, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with minimal errors.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Honesty, transparency, and integrity in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and eagerness to contribute positively to an open and inclusive culture.
