At Currys Group, we're seeking a skilled Commercial Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial team, you'll be responsible for managing the commercial relationship of one of our cornerstone categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best cost, best supply, and best delivery for our customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and innovations, and use this information to drive category performance.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure all sales and stock metrics are met.
  • Contribute to projects within the Commercial team and the wider Currys Group.
  • Manage and develop an Assistant Buyer direct report.

Requirements:

  • Experience at Buyer/Junior Buyer level with extensive knowledge and experience of supplier negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong commercial awareness and appreciation of customer needs.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
