Prehabilitation Team Dietitian Opportunity

We are seeking a Band 7 dietitian or an experienced Band 6 dietitian to join our prehabilitation team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a leading role in the development and running of this multidisciplinary service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and therapy assistants to deliver a prehabilitation service that reduces complications from treatment and improves patients' long-term health.
  • Contribute to the improvement of cancer services for patients living with and beyond cancer.
  • Provide leadership and clinical support to the team, working closely with the Macmillan Living with and Beyond Cancer Lead, the BHRUT Lead Cancer Nurse, and the Clinical Lead Dietitian.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a dietitian role, preferably in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Strong leadership and clinical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of prehabilitation services and their benefits for patients with cancer.
