Quality Technician Job Description

Morson Talent is seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our client's team in Portsmouth. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying quality processes to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to established quality processes and procedures.
  • Identify and analyze product failures to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct independent bench testing and provide detailed reports to the operations team and engineering.
  • Maintain equipment calibration and ensure adherence to planned preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S guidelines.
  • Perform quality control checks to meet contractually agreed service levels.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a medium to high volume electronics manufacturing or process environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve regular product output.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard approaches to product and process verification.
Personal Qualities:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Open-minded and willing to consider alternative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with employees and operations teams.
