Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers with the achievement of retail store targets
  • Opening and closing the store, ensuring safe and legal trading practices
  • Delivering sales through exceptional customer service
  • Ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience
  • Demonstrating Claire's products and assisting customers with queries
  • Processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions
  • Providing ear piercing services (full training provided)
  • Maintaining a clean and inviting store environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required, with a minimum 1 year retail experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate POS system
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts, with occasional lifting up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to maneuver merchandise throughout the store and assist customers
  • Strong reading comprehension skills and sound understanding of mathematics
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing situations
