Electrical Project Manager

Our client, a leading M&E sub-contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee a large project in Southampton. The project will span two years and involves a commercial fit-out as well as phase 2, a commercial new build. We require an Electrical Manager who can start within four weeks.
Electrical Manager Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Coordinate job setup from drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with testing systems and certification.
- Assist with health and safety preparation and implementation.
- Contribute to estimating and tendering the electrical elements of a project.
- Take ownership of job completion and, if required, supervise other operatives, liaising with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers as necessary.
- Manage workload, including that of the electrical team and sub-contractors, to meet client commitments in a fast-paced environment.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.
- Oversee small project work and manage the commissioning and testing of electrical systems and equipment, issuing relevant certification.
- Lead the electrical team, ensuring they adhere to high standards.
The Electrical Manager position offers a competitive salary of £50k - £60k + package, with 22 days' holiday.
