Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Transport Operator to join our team in Stowmarket, Suffolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of daily transport plans. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as experience working with transportation management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all day loads/routes have been dispatched and communicated to drivers.
  • Track driver performance and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers and ensure prompt resolution of any concerns.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and track and trace solutions.
  • Knowledge of transport compliance and regulation.
Salary and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is up to £30,000, depending on experience. Additional benefits include 25 days' holiday plus 8 bank holidays, access to high street discounts, and a cycle-to-work scheme.
