WhereToTalk is seeking a skilled Adult Carer Counsellor to provide solution-focused counselling services to adult carers.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work with adult carers, providing up to 4 sessions of weekly counselling, adhering to the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework. This role requires a strong understanding of solution-focused therapy and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality counselling services to adult carers.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and develop strategies for achieving them.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
  • Prioritize self-care and maintain professional boundaries.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Counselling or related field.
  • Current registration with a recognised professional counselling organisation.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Registration with HMRC as self-employed.

Salary: £25 per hour on a self-employed basis.
