About the Role
Saha is looking for a dedicated Youth Homelessness Support Worker to join our team. As a Youth Homelessness Support Worker, you will work with young people aged 16-25 years who are homeless or have recently experienced homelessness. Your role will involve working in a psychologically informed environment, engaging creatively with clients to help them grow their strengths and talents, improve understanding of financial management, and move on to independent living.

You will motivate young people to recognise and unlock their talents to enable them to achieve their full potential. You will also engage and relate to young people, take an asset-based approach to empowering people to develop their skills, strengths and talents, and support clients to sustain their accommodation and manage their license agreement. You will work a part-time evening and weekend schedule.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge or experience of working with homeless people, and/or supporting vulnerable people or groups. You will also have knowledge of wider community resources and organisations available to support clients and be comfortable dealing with difficult or complex situations.

This role comes with a salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 27 days annual leave rising to 32 days, High Street discount scheme, pension with life assurance, health assistance programme, full Induction package and training, and training opportunities for personal and professional development.
