Service Care Solutions, a dynamic outsourcing provider, is seeking an exceptional Lead Lawyer and Governance Specialist to spearhead their client’s legal team. Based in London, this role will offer you the opportunity to lead the council’s legal department.

This is a three-month contract with negotiable pay rates for hybrid work arrangements. The rate advertised is an umbrella rate.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Fostering inclusive leadership that drives continuous improvement in the council's plans.
  • Serving as Deputy Monitoring Officer under the Local Government and Housing Act 1989.
  • Partnering with the Chief Solicitor from a neighboring council to ensure cohesive leadership across the Bi-Borough Legal service.
  • This is a politically restricted post.

The estimated salary range for this role, considering the location and requirements, is between £60,000 and £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
