About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Aughton Park, a purpose-built care home offering residential and dementia care. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in leading and inspiring a team of care assistants to provide exceptional care to our residents, enabling them to live later life well.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with personal care needs and help them participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
  • Lead and motivate a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care.
  • Previous experience in care, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and promoting the wellbeing of our residents.
