Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Statham Manor Care Centre. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
  • Support residents to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults in our care.

Requirements

  • Experience in a care environment, preferably in a residential or nursing setting.
  • Care certificate or equivalent, or a willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Good knowledge of care practices and principles, with a focus on the care of older people.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate self-motivation and confidence.
