About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Contract Paralegal to support our Mortgage Enforcement Team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension, offering a day rate via an umbrella company. The ideal candidate will reside in the Bristol region and be willing to work hybrid from our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of repossession files, referring legal aspects to the Team Supervisor or Team Manager.
  • Prepare communications and legal documents with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Process new matters using our case management system, ensuring timely and efficient workflow.
  • Regularly update clients on the progress of matters, maintaining excellent communication skills.
  • Ensure all matters are billed promptly, maintaining a high level of organizational and time management skills.

Requirements and Skills

  • Previous administration experience, preferably in a legal or mortgage-related field.
  • Excellent telephone handling skills, with a clear and professional demeanor.
  • Proactivity, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A natural empathy and affinity with clients, with a strong ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
