Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our KS3 and KS4 students and teachers in Lancaster. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons and providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and providing support to students
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with educators to facilitate lesson preparation and classroom management
  • Encourage student participation and foster a love for learning
Requirements:
  • Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviors
  • Ability to engage with and build rapport with students
  • Be creative, proactive, and flexible in their supporting style
  • Have experience with SEN or knowledge of learning difficulties
  • TA qualified
