Locum Consultant in Anaesthesia (Generalist)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Anaesthesia (Generalist) to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to work at the St Helier site, with a job plan including 10 Programmed Activities, including 1 SPA. There will be no initial on-call commitment, but participation in the 1:12 consultant on-call rota or 1:6 weekend trauma lists will be expected after an initial period of settling into the role.
Person Specification
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- At least seven years anaesthetic experience at senior level
Desirable Criteria
- EPALS / APLS training
- CCT/CESR in Anaesthesia or eligible for specialist registration within six months of interview
