Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for planning activities on UK projects and tenders, ensuring the development and improvement of the planning department, its systems, procedures, and more junior personnel.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement planning strategies to meet business objectives and ensure compliance with UK planning procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor planning engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Coordinate and deliver workload of the department in a supervisory capacity, ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects.
  • Monitor and report on department output, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive records of project planning-related documentation, including contract control schedules, detailed offshore schedules, and project change registers.
  • Interface with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of business planning initiatives and projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in planning and supervisory roles, with a strong background in oil and gas planning.
  • Excellent planning competencies, including Oracle Primavera P6 certification and experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to bring out the best in people and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Proactive approach to development and continuous improvement.
