Female Home Carer Wanted

We are seeking a female Support Worker to assist a 90-year-old independent dementia patient in her home. The ideal candidate will have a caring and patient nature, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to offer gentle support while respecting the client's independence.

About the Job:
  • Prepare and serve lunch.
  • Make cups of tea and engage in friendly conversation.
  • Provide gentle reminders, such as helping her remember her walking stick.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in the kitchen and common areas.
  • Follow specific care instructions provided by the family.

This is a part-time position, requiring flexibility to work 3 to 4 days a week within the hours of 10:00 and 17:00. The estimated salary is £12.00 per hour.

Requirements:
  • A caring and patient nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to offer gentle support while respecting the client's independence.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Previous experience with dementia care is preferred but not essential.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Female applicants only (as per the client's request).
  • Right to work in the UK.
