Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Practitioner to join our team at King's College Hospital. As a key member of our Site Operations department, you will be responsible for leading patient flow across the hospital 24/7.
Your primary objective will be to ensure that patients receive timely and effective care, working closely with our Emergency Department team to achieve 4-hour emergency care standards. You will also be responsible for triaging, assessing, diagnosing, and treating inpatients, as well as responding to cardiac arrests, fires, and other emergencies.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will play a crucial role in leading our Hospital at Night Team during out-of-hours periods. This will involve making decisions regarding patient placement and prioritization, ensuring that beds are utilized efficiently and effectively.
You will work closely with our senior management team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and reduce waiting times. Your expertise and experience will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals and provide the highest standard of care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead patient flow across the hospital 24/7
- Support flow out of the Emergency Department to achieve 4-hour emergency care standards
- Triage, assess, diagnose, and treat inpatients
- Respond to cardiac arrest, fire, security, and other emergency calls

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience at Band 7 within Clinical Site Management. You must also have appropriate UK professional registration.
