Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator

Location: Leeds, UK

About Progeny: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Administrator to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, including preparing and processing monthly payrolls.
  • Amendments and Adjustments: Manage and process calculations for amendments, adjustments, deductions, holiday pay, and statutory payments.
  • Payroll Administration: Process new starters/leavers, benefits, P11Ds, Statutory Leave and pay including SSP, SMP, and SPP.
  • Employee Queries: Be a point of contact for employees for all payroll-related queries and issues.
  • Pension Administration: Manage Pension administration to ensure compliance is adhered to.
  • Year-end Routines: Conduct year-end routines including P60s and P11Ds.
  • Business Integration: Integrate acquired businesses and ensure that TUPE has been considered.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience within an end-to-end Payroll management role (essential).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax, and PAYE.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
