About the Role

AQA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Operations Manager to join our team. As the web product owner, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements and managing stakeholder relationships across Marketing Leadership Team (MLT), Customer and Product (C&P), and AQA.

This role is integral in overseeing all web operations, aligning projects with AQA's business goals, and ensuring efficient workflow management.

The Senior Web Operations Manager is key in shaping the strategic direction of AQA's web presence, ensuring it aligns with the organisation's objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountability as the product owner for AQA's website and associated operations.
  • Drive continuous improvements in web services and platforms.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with stakeholders within MLT, C&P, and across AQA and 3rd Party vendors.
  • Strategically align web operations with stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Oversee all aspects of web operations, being accountable for the smooth running and optimisation, as well as ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Be responsible for the implementation of efficient workflow management practices.
  • Lead and develop the web operations team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in web operations management and digital strategy including SEO.
  • Leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
  • Collaborative and engaging senior leader confident in taking action and decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management and strategic oversight.
  • A confident and clear communicator, both in person and in writing.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of web technologies and digital trends.
  • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams as well as experience managing external suppliers and partnerships.
  • Experience in product management within a web/digital context.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
