Job Title: Graduate Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Assistant to join our team at a thriving co-ed secondary school. As a Graduate Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students and teachers in various subjects, contributing to the development of educational programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide one-to-one and group support to students in various subjects, promoting academic achievement and personal growth.
  2. Assist with the planning and delivery of educational activities and lessons, collaborating with teachers to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
  3. Support teachers in the preparation of materials and resources, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, fostering positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  5. Encourage student engagement and participation in extracurricular activities, promoting a love of learning and a sense of community.

Requirements:

  1. Recent graduate in a relevant field (e.g. Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, English, Maths, Science).
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  3. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to education and personal growth, with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young people.
