We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a dynamic and supportive primary school in Brighton, East Sussex. As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and enhancing the learning experience of pupils.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher with day-to-day activities and lesson preparation
- Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt learning activities as required
- Work effectively as part of a team to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for all pupils
- Communicate effectively with teachers, pupils, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
