About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our Property Maintenance Team at Tesco. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and facilities, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities to minimize customer disruption and ensure a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve first-time fix rates, improve efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Assist the management team in maintaining equipment and facilities, and provide technical support as needed.
  • Represent the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Attend local and national meetings to provide valuable input and feedback.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment.
  • Digital confidence using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
  • Operational skills, including ONC or equivalent, full driving license, health and safety awareness, communication and collaboration, and Office 365 knowledge.
  • Completed all technical training upskilling modules relevant to abilities.
