Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Urmston's primary and secondary schools. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with various Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team approach.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a SEN or SEMH setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards children with diverse learning needs.
