Primary SEN Teacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join our team at a highly rewarding SEN school in Urmston. As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will be working with higher ability SEN pupils, optimising individual progress and making a positive impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a class of ten pupils with ASC, working closely with three Teaching Assistants.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of SEN pupils.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to support their development.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to ensure the effective implementation of the KS1 curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with SEN pupils.
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of SEN pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the school.
