Job Title: Manufacturing Shift Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Shift Supervisor to join our team at Latham & Bond HR. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the night shift operations to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining safety standards, lean practices, and efficient team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with production management to meet production plans and ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle people management tasks, including performance, absence, and timekeeping, in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Ensure manning levels and skills meet business needs, including controlling holidays.
  • Report machine and equipment malfunctions to support departments.
  • Work closely with team leaders and support departments to maintain machines and dies according to the TPM schedule.
Requirements:
  • Computer literate.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous exposure to operations such as forge and casting is ideal, though not essential.
  • Experience in problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
  • An FLT license is advantageous.
  • Willingness to undertake further training.
Working Conditions:

Night shift with no management on site after 5 pm. The post-holder must be flexible regarding roles, responsibilities, and hours of work, including overtime when required, to ensure business goals are met.
