Job Title: Residential Team Leader for Children's Home

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Residential Team Leader to join our team at a Children's Home in Tiverton. As a Residential Team Leader, you will play a vital role in leading shifts, planning activities, and allocating staff to ensure the best possible care for our children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead shifts and plan activities to promote the well-being and development of our children and young people
  • Supervise Residential Support Workers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and professional agencies
  • Provide reports and attend meetings as required to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and young people
  • Support children and young people in achieving their personal wishes and goals
Requirements:
  • Ability to engage and build positive relationships with children and young people
  • Remaining calm in challenging situations
  • Able to implement boundaries and promote positive behavior
  • Ability to be part of a team and work collaboratively
  • Able to adapt and respond quickly to changing situations
  • Empathy, emotional resilience, and self-awareness
