HGV Fitter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HGV Fitter to join our client's team in Leyland. As an HGV Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining heavy goods vehicles, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, and performing routine inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in heavy goods vehicles
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks
  • Carry out necessary repairs and replacements
  • Test drive vehicles after repair (Class 2 licence desirable)
Requirements:
  • Some experience working on HGVs is essential
  • Desirable: Class 2 licence and fabrication experience
