**ARE YOU OUR HGV MECHANIC..?**

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team to enable us to bring all servicing, miantenance and repairs of our top spec fleet of Scania tippers, tractor units & trailers in house at our new purpose built HGV workshop at our Leyland depot.

- Undetake MOT preperations on HGV's & trailers
- Test drive vehicles to confirm successful repairs
- Perform 6 weekly inspections on all fleet
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles & trailers
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- For the right person, this vacancy is yours to manage yourself working closely with the Transport team, we are a fairly newly extablished company so building the right team to lay our foundations on is critical.

- Proven experience as a HGV Mechanic
- Own Tools
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- DRIVING LICENCE (up to class 1/ C+E)

Pay: From £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leyland: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- HGV MECHANIC: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
