Consultant Psychiatrist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients, as well as contributing to the education and training of medical students and junior doctors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Psychiatry, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of medical education programs, including teaching and curriculum design.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Eligibility for inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCT.
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status.
- Experience in medical education, including teaching and pedagogical methodologies.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
