Job Overview
The Coatings Specialist will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality paint finishes at our state-of-the-art facility. This position requires a skilled individual with experience in automated paint plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure adherence to paint, blast, pre-wash, and quality standards.
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are met at all times.
- Take a proactive lead in continuous improvements, including lean and 5S procedures.
- Assist the team leader with paint shop performance and key performance indicators.
Requirements
- City and Guilds Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Paint Spraying.
- Substantial experience in paint spraying, shot blasting in an automated paint plant.
- Strong understanding of policies and procedures required to operate safely within a paint plant environment.
- Awareness of Health and Safety, Fire, and Environmental Policies.
