Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the paint facility within Rotork's Bath factory, supporting the team in delivering high-quality work.

You will be part of a team of paint operators who represent part of Rotork's operations department. Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Maintaining Paint, Blast, Pre Wash, and Quality standards.
  • Ensuring paint shop processes and procedures are maintained, including EPA requirements.
  • Adhering to all Health and Safety requirements at all times.
  • Taking a proactive lead in continuous improvements, including lean and 5S procedures.
  • Ensuring equipment and tooling required is available and maintained.
  • Assisting the Team Leader with paint shop performance and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Completing all relevant paperwork at time of work.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
  • Requisitioning paint and materials for the shop floor.
  • Responding timely to inspection reports.
  • Highlighting any abnormalities to the team leader.
  • Carrying out daily tasks related to the paint process.
  • Assisting in other areas if trained to do so.

This role would suit a person who can communicate concisely, work as part of a team, and is enthusiastic to learn new skills.
