Job Title: Commercial Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team at Hexa Services. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will play a critical role in delivering commercial and lifecycle management services to our clients in the Healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide commercial interpretation and advice to senior management and project teams.
  2. Develop and maintain supply chain relationships to ensure commercial and contractual arrangements are aligned with partnering agreements.
  3. Procure lifecycle replacement work and variations across our portfolio of healthcare facilities.
  4. Ensure robust procurement and contract arrangements are in place, including GPA and JCT contracts.
  5. Support project handovers to operational teams and manage contracts during project life.
  6. Maintain accurate project documentation and record keeping in line with company policies and agreements.
  7. Provide commercial advice and guidance on contractual requirements and life cycle work.

Requirements:

  1. Good working knowledge of PFI/LIFT contracts and funding arrangements.
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator with experience in projects from £50k-£1m and use of JCT contracts.
  3. Completion of IOSH or NEBOSH training.
  4. Good working knowledge of CDM regulations.
  5. Ability to produce accurate and detailed reports.
  6. Ability to negotiate best value.
