Job Title: Commercial Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team at Hexa Services. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for delivering commercial and lifecycle management services to our clients in the Healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide commercial interpretation and advice to our senior management team.
  2. Develop and maintain our supply chain to ensure commercial and contractual arrangements are in place.
  3. Procure lifecycle replacement work and variations within our portfolio of health centres.
  4. Ensure robust and appropriate procurement and contract arrangements are in place.
  5. Support and handover new projects to our operational team for delivery.
  6. Ensure all project documentation record keeping complies with our arrangements.
  7. Provide commercial advice and guidance on contractual requirements.
  8. Ownership of the lifecycle process ensuring contracts adhere to our process.

Requirements:

  1. Good working and practical knowledge of PFI/LIFT contracts and funding arrangements.
  2. PPP/PFI Experience - preferable.
  3. Minimum 2 years' experience post-graduation as Quantity Surveyor or Estimator.
  4. Completion of IOSH or NEBOSH training.
  5. Good working knowledge of CDM regulations.
  6. Ability to produce accurate and detailed reports.
  7. Ability to negotiate best value.
