About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Specialist Physiotherapist in Downham Market and Swaffham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients in the community setting, including those with complex presentations.

Job Summary

This role will involve working as a clinical specialist, providing leadership, planning, and coordination of the physiotherapy service. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of complex patients, using specialist knowledge and skills as an autonomous practitioner.

Main Duties
  • You will be professionally and legally accountable for your workload, including management of patients in your care and that of your team.
  • You will undertake skilled assessment using a variety of techniques and advanced clinical reasoning.

  • You will provide training in specialist knowledge for physiotherapy staff and the wider community nursing and therapy team.
Responsibilities

As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with complex presentations.
  • Develop individualised therapy management and treatment plans in collaboration with the integrated team and other agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and carers about their assessment, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.
Requirements
  • You must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • You must be highly motivated, tactful, and empathetic.
  • You must have good observational and reporting skills, as well as good interpersonal skills.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
