About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Part Time Security Officer to join our team at the Port of Dover. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the site, including carrying out patrols, searches, and monitoring CCTV systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out patrols across the site to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Conduct thorough vehicle searches and personal searches as required.
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service and work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
- SIA Licence (desirable) - training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Driving Licence (desirable).
- 5-year checkable employment history.
- Ability to work Days/Nights & Weekends.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and work in all weather conditions.
- Friendly manner and excellent communication skills.
