Key Responsibilities- Conduct patrols across the site by foot and vehicle to ensure the security of the area.
- Perform thorough vehicle searches and personal body and bag searches.
- Be prepared to train on and operate X-Ray and security equipment.
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV, carrying out routine checks as required.
- Identify and report suspicious activity to the Port of Dover Police.
- Retain control of any threatening behaviour until the arrival of the police or other external agencies.
- Ensure continuous compliance with ISPS code requirements in accordance with the current Security Level.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- An SIA license (preferred)
- A driving license (desirable)
- A 5-year checkable employment history
- The ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends
