We are seeking a Care Companion for an individual with autism, living in the Consett area. The role involves supporting him for 1 evening per week (approx. 4 hours), promoting his independence and well-being.
Compensation is £12.00 per hour, with additional hours available to cover holidays and sickness. A clean driving license is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities- Meal preparation and planning
- Support in social and leisure activities, such as visiting the library, shopping outlets, and engaging with peer groups
- Transportation to and from appointments and activities
This is a part-time role, with the successful candidate working approximately 4 hours per week. Time will be split across evenings.
A DBS check will be required, but this will be paid for by the employer.
