UKCIL Ltd is seeking a dedicated Care Companion to support an autistic individual in his 30s residing in the DH8 area. This role offers £12.00 per hour, with additional hours available for holidays and sickness.

The successful candidate will accompany the individual to community activities such as visiting the library, shopping outlets, and social events. Interests include animation, drama, 60's music, and steam trains.

We require someone with experience and understanding of Autism; training will be provided for suitable applicants. The primary focus is on ensuring the individual feels comfortable with the Care Companion.

Responsibilities include meal preparation, transportation, and supporting the individual in leisure activities. A clean driving license is essential, and a DBS check will be conducted at no cost to the employer.

Schedule & Pay

Work Schedule: Monday afternoons and evenings
