About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Construction Manager to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our Eastern and Midlands team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the information management process across projects, ensuring compliance with industry and Kier standards, and delivering against client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the completion of our IM Gateway forms across all tenders to fulfill assurance procedures relating to early assessment of design team capability and internal resource considerations.
  • Ensure Exchange Information Requirements and Asset Information Requirements are responded to and delivered across relevant projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring the use of the common data environment to manage, share, and exchange information, adhering to ISO 19650 across relevant projects.
  • Support and audit the project team to ensure standards, methods, and procedures using specified software/workflows are in use.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of the ISO 19650 series of documents.
  • Ability to discuss in detail openBIM standards such as IFC and COBie to support information interoperability.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to use new technologies to improve traditional ways of working.
  • Innovative mindset, sharing ideas and challenging standard practices.
  • Understanding and experience of appropriate software tools to view and interrogate models.
