Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for assessing office and staff accommodation requests, liaising with service users to identify needs and develop minor works proposals based on achievable condition and property appraisals of the existing estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing office and staff accommodation requests
- Liaising with service users to identify needs and develop minor works proposals
- Providing subsequent condition measured surveys of existing buildings to provide electronic drawings for proposed alteration works and asset register database information
- Compiling reports to identify remedial action for compliance with standards and required
- Assisting in Property Management within the Estates department
Requirements:
- Building Surveying degree or related third level qualification
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
